Rev. Michelle Johnson

Michelle is the Executive Pastor at Skidaway Island Methodist Church where she equips others for ministry and shares God’s word through teaching and preaching.  She has served in ministry since her first job as a youth director when she was only 18.

After serving as laity for over 25 years primarily in the area of Christian Education, Michelle felt the call to pursue ordination. Her background in educational ministry allows her to create spiritual and educational opportunities for people at all stages in their faith journey.  Michelle has a degree in Christian Education from Huntingdon College and attended both Perkins School of Theology and Asbury Theological Seminary.

Michelle’s college sweetheart, Paul, is a golf professional, they have three young adult children, Carter, Ellie Grace, and Luke, and they enjoy living along the beautiful coast of Georgia.
