The South Georgia GMC is excited to announce the first annual Confirmation Retreat at Epworth by the Sea on February 23-25, 2024. All SGAGMC churches are invited to participate in what is to be a wonderful time of fellowship, learning and discipleship.

Sunday, Feb 25
     8 am     Breakfast Pack up, Clean up

Retreat Details

• All attendees must come as part of a church group. Churches that bring students for the retreat must be accompanied by Adult leaders. Students CANNOT be dropped off for the weekend without a church group and adult leader. Adult leaders will need to submit their ID to Heather Croft for the Ministry Safe Background check. Each group must have 1 adult for each 8 students.

• Each church must reserve accommodations at Epworth by the Sea. Cabins at Epworth are on a first come, first serve and will fill rapidly. Each individual church is responsible for their own Cabin Reservations for the weekend. Please contact Tiffany Flavell at Epworth By the Sea ASAP at 912.638.8688 / tflavell@epworthbythesea.org.

• There will be some workshops for the students and leaders offered on Saturday and the Museum will be available for tours (By appointment only). Contact the Arthur J. Moore Methodist Museum at (912) 638-4050 or email Anne Packard apackard@epworthbythesea.org or Cindy Angelich cangelich@epworthbythesea.org to arrange a tour.

• The cost of the the Confirmation Retreat (not including Epworth accommodations noted above) is $20 per participant and covers the costs of leaders, confirmation materials, and t-shirts.
