Describe why you believe that God has potentially called you to serve as a General Conference delegate.

For over 40 years, I have been involved in the struggle for church renewal within the United Methodist Church. I have seen committed clergy and lay first-hand pay the price in their stand for orthodoxy. I have attended two national meetings of the GMC and the Georgia meeting held in Epworth this year. I am so excited and blessed by the prospect of this new expression of Wesleyan scriptural Christianity. My goal is to help in any way possible for the GMC to continue to focus on the main things, ie. conversion, discipleship, church growth, and missions.
