What are your experiences and areas of service that you believe will be valuable in your role as a General Conference delegate?

It would be my joy to serve as a General Conference delegate. My background of varied experiences and gifts in administration, wisdom and discernment would be an asset at this historic convening conference. My heart is to help set the foundation for how to be most impactful in mission and ministry for future generations by upholding God’s truth, preserving our foundational conservative values, and listening for guidance from the Holy Spirit. Describe why you believe that God has potentially called you to serve as a General Conference delegate.

God called me out of the business world to serve in ministry 20 years ago. My experience in building a real estate investment business from the ground up is one unique way God has equipped me to help set foundations at this convening conference. I’ve had experience in setting foundational values and systems for ministry with a new church plant, including exploring, documenting and compiling foundational standards to acquire non-profit 501(c)(3) status.

It is a privilege to serve on the Prayer Team for our South Georgia GMC Conference since our convening annual conference this summer. It has been an opportunity to minister together with Godly people who have a heart for our Global Methodist Church. Our time together has afforded me insight into the prayer needs and concerns within our denomination, conference and local church, which will be helpful in the discerning work of the conference.

God always goes before us to make a way for us to best serve Him. Having visited Costa Rica and flown into San Jose’ before, the announcement of the location sparked my attention to consider returning for the purpose of serving Him in this foreign country that is now somewhat familiar. It would be an honor to serve and represent you.
